PROMASEAL ventilation grates

Product description

PROMASEAL® ventilation grates are made of organic intumescent material which produces a heat-insulating foam as a result of heat exposure. The foam covers all ventilation openings preventing the spread of fire and smoke.

Application

PROMASEAL® ventilation grates are used for ventilation of cable ducts made of PROMATECT® panel as well as inter-ceiling space and vertical service shafts. A ventilation grate of proper thickness should be selected, depending on the required fire resistance class of cable ducts, walls, ceilings or suspended ceilings. Additionally, each ventilation grate should also be covered with perforated masking sheet metal with openings matching the louvres in the grate.
